We had a great appointment on Wed in Houston. The dr there was so great and very detailed. She checked Trey from head to toe and was very concerned about his ankles. He has no lateral movement in either ankle. She is ordering an MRI and more blood work. The diagnosis is still arthritis we just don't know the specific type of arthritis yet. He is on a new anti- inflamatory medication and will be getting orthotics for his ankles and feet. She said that she could get Trey to about 50% but that there would be pain and when he has a flare up it would be less than 50%. It is discouraging however, just another challenge. Our prayer right now would be for medication to relieve some of the pain, if it does not, he will have to stop all activity. This would not be great for an active boy.
