Whole Life Challenge Complete

This is the guy who encouraged me the most to do the whole life challenge. Thanks Mark for believing I could do it. I did it and finished 3rd overall in the CF lakehighlands group. Yeah...

First Time Ever

Every year in kindergarten I usually have 1 or 2 kids cut their own hair but I have never had anyone cut my hair until today. A little boy was playing with my hair as I was helping another student and the next thing you know the scissors were on my hair and it was cut. I think he was just as shocked as I was. I said Oh no we don't cut hair, he said I just did. Oh boy.... Kindergarten is never boring or dull. So when you see me be sure to ask me where I got my hair cut and to think I got it for free.

School has started

School has started and every morning Travis gives us the count down of how many more days left in the year. Trey has complained mostly about homework and seems to still be as lazy as ever about it. Am hoping for that maturity bug to kick in. Travis loves school but only the social part of it. Travis is playing football and has his first game on Thursday. I am NOT old enough to have a junior high football player. All is well on the shoemake front. Continue to pray for germs to stay at bay.

I have been super busy with this new precious crop of kindergartener.... Praise the Lord for such precious children. May I be a blessing to them and their families.
