Sweet Friend

our sweet friend Jennifer Lewis Clouse has breast cancer and Travis bought these sweet socks for her. Follow her blog praypinklove at theclousefamily.wordpress.com she is such a precious friend to us and has been with our family through some rocky times. We love you miss jennifer.... I know she's married but my boys STILL call her miss jennifer... found this sweet picture of her husband scott, (while in this pic he was a boyfriend) and Travis when they came to our school to talk about Africa.

Throwback Thursday

I was looking through my millions of pictures and came across this picture. It was taken in DEC 2010 on the day my mom died. This was while my mother was in surgery shortly after this picture was taken our world was turned upside down. A moment in time I'll never forget. Love that my brother was there with me. Thanks Richard for always being the BEST big brother ever. I love you. jewels....

WILD about kindergarten

Every year I say I'm going to do the same thing and that never happens so this year my theme is wild about kindergarten. I did do this theme several years ago and of course I saved nothing. This is my new reading loft and my newly painted rocking chair. My room is super cute and I'll take some pics when I am downtown. The pink and blue chair was the pinterest inspiration and the black and white is mine. I like mine better. :)

Pool time

Since it's been so blooming hot we have been at the pool most days.

Twin Fawns

When we arrived in Angel Fire we saw a mama deer huddled down in the bushes, we wondered why she wouldn't move but soon found out why. She was about to give birth to twins, AHHHH that's why she wasn't concerned about nothing... We saw the twins but no mom around, several neighbors said that they saw her with a broken leg. after putting several stories together from the neighbors, we think that the animal control shot her and left the fawns there alone. We watched them for a few days and one was barely moving. We took them to the vet and they called the wildlife rescue people who picked up the fawns. They were precious.
