Travis Sick

Travis woke up this morning with his croupy cough. Robert was in town so he took him to the Doctor and of course he has a sinus infection. Not surprised. Trey has been complaining of hip pain. UGH. He is leaving to go out of town to pine cove all weekend am a little concerned but he wants to go. Continue to pray for pain relief for him and for Travis as this is the season of yucky germs for him.

Gotta love this

This made me laugh outloud and of course I had to take a picture for the boys. This was at a sandwich shop in Norman.

Delta Gamma

On Friday night, I headed to NORMAN, OK to attend the Delta Gamma initiation. My friend's daughter was getting initiated and I was there to surprise her. She had no clue I was there and when she turned around to get her pin I was there. She was shocked and excited all in one, it was quite special. She is such a joy and I am so proud of her. Of course, with my Texas Tech roots it was weird to be in OU country.

Poison Control??? Really

On Thursday night Trey took his medication as planned and it was two 75 mgs of Lyrica. He had been taking one 75 mg of lyrica in the morning and one at night but the Dr wanted him to take 150 in the morning and 150 in the evening. Well, then our story begins. I went to dinner with a friend and came home to Trey completely drunk. He was laying on the chair not too responsive and dizzy, hot and out of it. I called the pharmacy and he said call the Dr immediately. I called the Dr on call and after he looked everything up he said I think he will be fine but call me back if he throws up or anything else changes. Right after I hung up Trey threw up. So.... I called the Dr back and his comment was "I'm not comfortable with this, I'm going to call poison control." Not the words you want to hear from the Dr. Poison Control said he should be fine but he should be woken up every 30 minutes. This of course makes for a long night. He was fine in the night, very hard to wake up and slept VERY hard. Friday he stayed home from school. We didn't give him 150 on Friday although the Dr wants us to go back to 75 mg. UGH Praying we can find a better medication.

Rangers Baseball

Who would have thought that Rangers post season baseball could cause so much chaos in our household. Robert is in town this week and he let the boys stay up both nights to watch the rangers. I know doesn't seem like a bad thing but BOY when I have to wake the boys up at 6:00 am to leave the house by 6:45 ugh it makes for a bad morning. Was hoping that the rangers would have finished off the yankees yesterday but at least the next game is on a Friday night and no 6:00 am wake up call.

Another reason to LOVE kindergarten

Do you remember when losing a tooth was a BIG deal. Well in kindergarten it is HUGE and you get to sign the tooth chart when you lose a tooth. I have pulled too many teeth to count and it still makes me smile to see what Joy it brings to a little one. Do you remember losing your first tooth? How much money did the tooth fairy bring you?
